Please note: This is an old resume--I've found new employment and am no longer seeking a position. I'm keeping my resume here to support my "papers" published at this site. Please note that, do to time constraints, I will not be able to respond to inquiries about employment.

Responsible for specification of all in-house and "for resale" computer systems (hardware and software). Manage, program and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, discrete devices and hybrid systems. Experienced in real-time operating systems, industrial BASIC, Pascal, C, Prolog, RLL (Relay Ladder Logic), Boolean logic, statement list programs, FORTRAN, assembly language, LANs, PCs, PLCs, communication interfaces, OOP (Object Oriented Programming), visual programming, Paradox, and databases. Academic investigations and interests include constraints, logic programming, CLP, declarative languages, artificial intelligence, formal methods and systems theory including structures.
DESIGN: Responsible for design, systems integration and project management of analog and digital control systems ranging from small control panels to medium-sized computer-controlled PID systems and larger hybrid industrial control systems. Responsibilities include OEM human-machine interfacing (HMI or MMI), R&D, and design of mechanical components, programs, and electronics.
ENGINEERING: Excellent retention of engineering and mathematical studies. Years of work experience in computer science, control engineering, electronics (including discrete devices and systems), purchasing specification, product testing, basic physics, trigonometry, algebra, and other mathematics (including mathematical programming).
MANAGEMENT: Managed associate engineers and drafters in engineering departments. Extensive volunteer experience in corporate start-up, public relations (including radio, television, print and negotiations) and in managing volunteers in chapters as president of two nonprofit corporations.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY: Often responsible for overseeing documentation, testing, field service, plant start-up, training, and telephone support. Have also designed and patented machinery. Experienced in dealing with legal and contractual matters. Accustomed to air travel responsibilities, expense reporting, project budgeting, and on-site customer relations.
